First, Happy (belated) Mother's Day to all of the wonderful moms out there that I am blessed to know and learn from - the most amazing example being my own mom who has shown me unconditional love despite the fact that I can be a bit difficult at times ;)
My first Mother's Day was really great! I woke up to an absolutely beautiful bouquet of flowers and my very first charm bracelet with a "Mommy" charm on it to start out my collection. Matt says Benjamin picked out the charm by himself, but I have a hunch that Matt may have helped a bit :)
My boy, my flowers and my bracelet :)
My in laws (Poppa & Goon, Aunt Susie, Uncle Sam and Lucy) were in for the weekend so we spent lots of time just hanging out with family which is always fun.
Aside from this being my first Mother's Day, it was even more special because Benjamin was dedicated at our church. We promised to raise our little boy under the authority of God, always seeking His guidance for all of our steps along the way. We are so incredibly blessed by our little man and beyond grateful that God chose us to be his parents. He is such a precious gift!
My super hero baby all dressed up and ready for church!
Thanks for taking this picture, Uncle Sam!
Love my husband and my little man!
During the service, Pastor Alex said that the name Benjamin Thomas means 'Mighty' and read Benjamin Psalm 18:35 "You have also given me the sheild of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great."
Don't mind the spit up on the corner of B's mouth - it wouldn't be Benjamin without it! ;)

I love the bracelet and the charm that Matt and Benjamin picked out!

Benjamin was dedicated during the 11 a.m. service along with 10 other babies. Between the 3 services on Sunday, there were 27 babies dedicated in total!
