The weekend before last was the much anticipated "Singapore Reunion" weekend!
Cara, who still lives in Singapore, was here in Houston with her 11 month old son, Hunter, visiting her family. Our very close mutal friend, Chris, who we of course met in Singapore but is now living back in Minnesota, flew down to visit both of us. Karen, who was introduced to Cara through a mutual friend and then eventually introduced to Chris and I also moved back to Houston from Singapore so she joined us for some quality hangout time too. Did you follow all of that? To sum it up...four ladies met in Singapore and carried their friendships all the way back to the states :)
We had so much fun just hanging out and catching up! We definitely have a special bond with the people we met in Singapore and now get to see and hangout with here at home. It was great to sit around discussing all of the things that we do and don't miss about our time over seas. I'm pretty sure this was the first of many "Singapore Reunion" weekends to come!

Matt and I hosted a couples baby shower for Cara and her husband in June of '10 and then Cara and Chris hosted a baby shower/goodbye party for us in October of '10 ...it seems so crazy that our 6 and 11 month old sons are now together in a picture just a year later!
