This past Friday we packed up what seemed like everything Benjamin has and made our way to Matt's parents house just outside of Dallas. What's normally a 4.5 hour trip turned into a 6 hour trip since we had to make stops to feed and change him. I guess that's life with an infant :)
Benjamin's cousin, Lucy, turned 3 years old on the 7th and the entire family came in for the weekend which meant Benjamin got to meet the rest of his family that hadn't yet seen him!
First he got to meet Uncle Luke and Aunt Anna
Aunt Anna got right to playing with little B!
Later in the evening, Benjamin got to meet his great grandparents! He sure enjoyed being held by Mimi and Papa! :)
Benjamin was a bit fussy during our visit, but Mimi knew just how to calm him down with lots of hugs and pats on the back!
The next day Uncle Tim and Aunt Rachel arrived - so many new people for the little man to meet!
Finally, it was time for Lucy's birthday party...but first, the birthday girl had to get all ready for the big event by getting her nails painted at a salon for the very first time!

All 3 cousins together for the first time! (You can tell the cake was tasty by the black icing on Lucy and Brandon's teeth, ha!)
Benjamin can't wait until he's old enough to chase these two around!
Our first long trip with Benjamin was a huge success! His next big trip will be a plane ride to VA in April...that will be a whole new adventure to blog about ;)
