Time to catch up on the last few days! Between caring for a newborn and trying to get a couple hours of sleep in here and there, finding time to blog isn't the easiest of tasks, but I have to try and posts updates every few days to keep the families happy :)
Not much to write about this time around...just a lot of pictures to share from the weekend!
We have a very sleepy eater! He falls asleep within 2 minutes of starting to eat and we constantly have to try to keep him awake so that he's getting enough to eat (though not easy, we're managing to do it as you can tell by the little rolls he's developing on his arms...). One of the best ways to do this is to get him a little riled up before it's time to eat. How do we do that? By unwrapping him from his swaddler and making him lay in a diaper!
For the first few seconds he's OK...
...but then suddenly he realizes he's been unwrapped and he starts to get a little mad.
OK, I mean a lot mad ;)
He may be showing off his" ugly cry", but I still think he's pretty darn cute!
So on Friday night we had a BIG moment! We gave him a bath and halfway through, he realized it wasn't so bad and he stopped crying! Who knows, he may even start smiling for his next bath!
Late Friday evening, PoppaGoon (short for Poppa and Goon [Matt's parents] which is what Benjamin's cousins call them) arrived for the weekend. Then on Saturday, Aunt Susie and Lucy stopped by!
